Who is participating this year?

We have a multi-disciplinary group of participants this year.

Will travel reimbursements be provided?

Travel reimbursements will not be provided. However, food and accomodation for the duration of the hackathon will be provided.

Will food and accommodation be provided?

Yes. All participants who have already pre-registered and RSVPed to the invite will be hosted at the venue from 3rd July 2018, 6:00 pm to 9th July 2018, 10:00 am. Food will also be provided at the venue.

When and where is ETE happening this year?

ETE 2018 will be taking place from 4th to 8th July 2018 at International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad.

When is the last date to register?

Registrations have closed. There will be spot registrations at the venue on 4th July from 7:30 am to 9:00 am.

When will results of the application be announced?

All applications submitted before 4th June 2018 have been reviewed and selected applicants have received an invite to the event with RSVP.

If you applied before 4th June and have not received an email from srujanainnovationcenter@gmail.com, you have been waitlisted and will receive invites if any of the selected applicants drop out.

Can I register at the event?

Yes. Spot registration desks will be open at the venue on 4th July 2018 from 7:30 am to 9:00 am. BUT no accommodation will be provided for participants registered on spot.

What time should I reach the venue?

If you are a local participant, please arrive at the venue to register by 9:00 am on 4th July 2018.

If you are a participant from out-of-town, accomodation will begin from 6:00 pm on 3rd July 2018 and go on until 10:00 am on 9th July 2018. So feel free to plan your travel accordingly.

Where can I find a team?

You are not expected to have a pre-formed team when applying for the hackathon. You will be given enough time to get to know all the participants at this year's ETE through the facebook group and in-person during the event. It will be a great opportunity for you to find a multi-disciplinary team.

I have been selected to participate but my teammates haven't. What do I do?

As we had mentioned clearly in the application, you were free to mention the names of your pre-formed team members but, applications will still be processed individually. Your selection would not guarantee your teammates' selection for the hackathon.

I have my own idea. Can I work on that?

As long as your idea is related to healthcare, you are free to work on it as long as you find team members who would like to work on the same. Pitch sessions will be hosted during the event to help you find team members with similar interests.

I don't have my own idea. Can I still participate?

Of course! That's what ETE is for. This is a great place to simply explore healthcare like never before. Team ETE has lined up clinicians and other healthcare professionals who will help you understand healthcare and come up with an interesting idea.
