Dr. Sangwan's a practicing ophthalmologist at the L.V.Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI). Dr. Sangwan is best known for having perfected a method of limbal stem cell culturing to produce transparent, stitchable epithelium and transplanting them on human patients. His work has been covered in nature protocols.
Prof. Ramesh Raskar
Associate Professor, MIT Media Lab
Ramesh Raskar is a professor at MIT Media Lab, he's worked on developing exciting technologies such as the EyeNETRA. He is leading the global health as well as medical tricorder efforts at MIT supported by the Tata Center for Technology+Design and MIT Media Lab. Recent inventions include cameras to look around a corner, a next-generation CAT-scan machine, and low-cost eye care devices (NETRA) among many others. He is currently co-authoring a book on computational photography. You may know him from his TED talks on Imaging at a trillion frames per second and his TEDMED talk.
