L V P Eye Innovations evolved out of LVP-MITRA program, a collaboration between L V Prasad Eye Institute and the MIT Media Labs.
The program aims to bring together the expertise of eye specialists and the incredible network of L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad and some of the leading engineers and scientists from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and other institutions around the world to build and deploy the next generation of eye care technologies.
We work out of a laboratory in the heart of LVPEI's Center for Excellence at Banjara Hills, in direct contact with clinicians. We're passionate about the 'design thinking' approach - empathizing with all stakeholders in eyecare - the clinicians and the patients. LVPEI's extensive network of primary and secondary centers, vision centers and partner centers all over the country position us as a one-of-a-kind incubator for these tools.
